My Young People’s Politics Club isn’t about any particular party - it's just a chance to learn more about politics, how we make decisions, and how you can get more involved.

The Club will run a series of events, competitions and speaker sessions across the year for anyone aged 16 to 23 who lives or studies in the Weald.

The first event will be an essay competition, whose winners will have the chance to do work experience with me next year both here in Parliament and at home.

In no more than 800 words, you will respond to the prompt: Britain is the best country in the world. You can agree or disagree with the statement, just explain your reasoning.

You must be aged 16 to 23 to participate. Final date for submission is 16th January 2026.
